Danish Fair Saturday 11 May 11:00-17:00 

We are delighted to announce that Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Gloucester will officially open Danish Fair on Saturday 11 May at 11 AM, marking the 70th anniversary of the event. 

Her Royal Highness, herself of Danish heritage, will join in the festivities at the fair, which originated in 1954 under the auspices of the Danish Women in England charity. Established as a fundraiser for the Danish Church and the Danish community in London, the fair has evolved into an annual celebration of Danish culture. It features a wide array of offerings including Danish food, design, antiques, crafts, books and more. All proceeds support the church and community projects at The Danish Church in London. It ensures a diverse programme of cultural events and Danish lessons for both Danes and the broader community. 

The day promises excitement for the whole family with activities planned for both young and old. Children can enjoy fun games and activities, while attendees of all ages can look forward to a convivial atmosphere with Danish food and drink, entertainment by Trevor-Roberts School Senior Choir performing at 2 PM and the announcement of the Danish Fair raffle winners at 4.30 PM.
