Learn Danish at The Danish Church in London at the Evening School
Evening Danish classes run from September to July at The Danish Church in Regent’s Park. They are taught by experienced Danish language teaching professionals in an atmosphere of informality and ‘hygge’. Adult students of all ages and nationalities from a wide range of backgrounds benefit from these part-time Danish courses. You are welcome to join a Danish evening class in January for the second term, provided you already have some knowledge of Danish.
Our lessons focus on the Danish required for communicating in authentic situations with an emphasis on speaking and listening. Your progress will be assessed on an ongoing basis through homework, presentations and performance in class.
In order to attend these classes, you have to be a member of the Danish Church. The tuition fee is £340 for all three terms.
Danish 1: September 16 - December 9. No class October 28.
Danish 2: September 15 - December 8. No class October 27.
Danish 3: September 16 - December 9. No class October 28.
Danish 4: September 16 - December 9. No class October 28.
Aftenskolen has since lockdown conducted online classes on Skype and Zoom.
At present we do not know when we can move back into the church so we will continue with the online classes. Registration is the same as before. Register before 1st September to secure a place, as we will probably need to observe social distancing once we can use the classrooms in the church.
